Description: Storage IT Solutions is seeking an Account Executive in the Chicago area. The AE position represents the primary customer facing sales function that drives revenue and manages the customer relationship. The AE communicates and sells IT Solutions value, under limited direction, utilizing highly complex and sophisticated products, servers, applications, software, and systems to achieve goals and objectives. Responsibilities include the expansion and maintenance of new and existing customers accounts, development and implementation of sales strategies, calling on customers, present new concepts, solutions and products, and ensuring adequate sales and engineering support and service.

Qualified candidates will possess: 4+ years of proven sales experience in the high-tech industry required, preferably in the data storage industry. Must have experience in consultative, solutions selling approach, and proven experience managing a complex sales cycle and selling to multiple levels within large organizations. Must excel at relationship management and extensive follow-up with prospects and customers. Must also possess a demonstrated sales track record in a competitive environment. Ability to qualify opportunities, obtain customer commitments, negotiate and close contracts. Must have strong local contact relationships and maintain a professional presence. Additionally, this individual will possess strong verbal and written communications, be adapt in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), and hold a BS Degree in business or technology discipline.

Each Account Executive receives a laptop computer, blackberry, current software tools, internet access, cellular telephone, and a monthly automobile allowance.
